Community-Made Art Installations

We collaborate with communities and local artists to build community-made art installations!

Zebulon Magnet Middle School

Art for All designed and facilitated painting a mural of diverse students at Zebulon Magnet Middle School. The mural, which is located in the cafeteria, features students in bold colors on top of a paint-stroke background. Additionally, quotes from Lin-Manuel Miranda and Amanda Gorman are painted on the walls perpendicular to the colorful mural.

Helen Wright Center

The Helen Wright Center is a low-barrier emergency shelter that offers safety and provides for the basic needs of single women experiencing homelessness. We collaborated with Activate Good to paint colorful murals for the shelter community. By partnering with Activate Good, we have not only adorned the walls of The Helen Wright Center but also uplifted the spirits of its residents. Together, we've created a space that fosters healing, inspiration, and a sense of belonging for those seeking refuge and solace.

Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School

Through our partnership with Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School, students unleashed their artistic expression to reflect the diverse voices and experiences of the student body. These murals stand as more than just colorful embellishments; they are symbols of unity, empowerment, and cultural pride. They transform ordinary spaces into dynamic canvases, sparking inspiration and dialogue among students, faculty, and visitors alike.

A Place at the Table

Discover 49 unique works of community art created by 42 dedicated volunteers at A Place at the Table's Community Art Installation. Each panel represents a distinct member of our diverse, loving, and creative community. Some artists utilized custom-designed stencils unique to our organization, while others crafted entirely original pieces. The result is a colorful and vibrant celebration of togetherness and creativity.

Outdoor art installation at the Poe Center

The Poe Center

To bring this eco-friendly collaborative art installation to life, we enlisted the expertise of artist Jane Cheek, a public installation artist who has displayed her work throughout the state and beyond.  Jane is working with the Poe Center community and Art For All volunteers to create an outdoor suspended kinetic sculpture using recycled materials that will engage and inspire visitors of Poe’s new Sensory Garden!
